The Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition (SACN) is an advisory Committee of independent expers that provides advice to the Department of Health as well as other Government Agencies and Departments. Its remit includes matters concerning nutrient content of individual foods, advice on diet and the nutritional status of people.

The Main Committee meets three times per year and holds Horizon Scanning meetings on a bi-annual basis. Check the box to receive updates of newly posted papers.
