Infant Formula and Follow-on Formula Draft Regulations 2007 (Response to consultation)
The European Commission released new Infant Formula and Follow-on Formula Regulations on 30 December 2006. The Directive requires European Union (EU) Member States to adopt and publish, by 31 December 2007 at the latest, laws and administrative provisions to implement the Directive at a national level. In September 2007, the Food Standards Agency consulted on draft regulations that would revoke and replace the existing Infant Formula and Follow-on Formula Regulations 2005.
